With Google’s default quotas, rate limiting is likely to compromise job performance. You can request temporary quota increases from Google to dramatically reduce job completion times.
From the developer’s console, make sure that the project for your Google Drive oauth is listed, and then go to APIs and Services > Dashboard.
Select Google Drive further down the page:
You’ll need to edit Queries per 100 seconds per user to 10,000. Edit Queries per 100 seconds to 100,000. When you click on the pencil, request a higher limit from Google:
You can just enter ‘see below’ in the Max Queries per Day and Peak Queries. Enter the specifics of what you need in the Explanation Box: “Increase Queries per 100 seconds per user to 10,000. Increase Queries per 100 seconds to 100,000.”
