Google Drive Setup: Increasing Quotas

With Google’s default quotas, rate limiting is likely to compromise job performance.  You can request temporary quota increases from Google to dramatically reduce job completion times.

From the developer’s console, make sure that the project for your Google Drive oauth is listed, and then go to IAM & Admin > Quotas.

Filter the Service Menu for Google Drive API:

Select “Queries per 100 seconds” and  “Queries per 100 seconds per user.”  Then select “Edit Quotas” at the top of the page to bring up the “Edit quotas” form:

Enter your name, email, and a phone number in the Edit quotas form, and click Next.  Enter a quota limit of 100,000 for Queries per 100 seconds, and enter a quota limit of 10,000 for Queries per 100 seconds per user:

Click the Submit request button and, if required by your account configuration, fill out any additional form information requested by Google.  If necessary, explain that you are migrating your data to G Drive and the requested quota increases are essential but temporary measures to establish your account.

Google may send back an email asking why you want to do this. Contact cfp-support@tervela.com if you need assistance on responding.
